                <text>Porté par les notables du pays de « Kom », ce costume singulier orné de part et d’autres d’étoiles à cinq cauris est arboré lors de grandes cérémonies festives. On y observe plusieurs accessoires. Le chapeau tressé avec des fibres issue de la queue d’éléphant; un chasse mouche royal dont le manche se dresse sous la forme d’une tête d’oiseau fabriquée avec de petites perles et dont l’extrémité se présente sous la forme d’une queue de cheval. La partie inférieure du costume est conçue avec une peau de panthère, animal totem de nombreuses communautés de cette aire culturelle. Autour du cou, on distingue une sacoche qui permet de garder un sabre.</text>
